From Martin Hackleman's "34 Characteristic Etudes for Low Horn Playing" book. This particular etude is great to focus on smooth shifting in and out of the pedal/mid-low register, dynamic range, and keeping time with these legato lines.

From Martin Hackleman's #34 Characteristic Etudes for Low Horn Playing" This is one of my favorite etudes, but also very challenging for me! It requires a lot of ease of tone in the softer pedal register, while also being able to shift into louder and "higher" mid-low range seamlessly.

First movement of Eugene Bozza's horn quartet: Suite pour Quatre Cors en Fa, Prélude

Waltzing Matilda - Traditional Australian. Arr. by Joshua Davis This awesome quartet is super fun for showing off the horn's low pedal register, and is just a blast to play and listen to!

The full title of the piece is "Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche - für Horn Solo frei nach Richard Strauss" I added a couple of my own Till orchestral parts that I thought would fit nicely for solo horn.

Performed at the Curtis Institute of Music in May 2022 for our brass studio recital!

Performed at Curtis Institute of Music on 11/15/21! This is the last song of Rachmaninoff's song cycle, 14 Romances, Op. 34. There is no text to this music, and it is meant to be sung on one vowel of the singer's choice, which makes it easy for other instruments to play. This arrangement is by H. Voxman.

Curtis Horn Studio 22-23 recorded my arrangement of Piazzolla's Milonga del Ángel! I arranged this for my Master's recital and we were able to record it shortly after at Lang Audio. For 5 horns, I wrote out the parts with the individual players in mind trying to showcase everyone's unique talents (like high range, low range, stopped horn, pitch bending)
